The When 2.0 Conference at Stanford on Tuesday, December 6th should be the place where Google debuts its online group calendar.
Nathan Weinberg noted how the Google Calendar should be live on Tuesday.
Rumors have circulated about the likelihood of the release. One URL registered by Data Docket Inc, a company Google has used for domain registrations in the past, registered GCalendar.com. That URL still redirects to an admin login page for the site.
Calendar.google.com has been redirecting to the main Google page for a few days, a development that started the latest set of rumors about a Google product release. Prior Google releases have seen this redirection occur.
Google probably would like to have a new product release announced during the When 2.0 gathering. One of the scheduled speakers is Microsoft CTO Ray Ozzie, and it wouldn't be surprising for Google to give Microsoft a little tweak by upstaging Ozzie with a Calendar announcement.
